So back to the question what is the file size limit and also why is develop mode different to edit mode when saving.A way to uninstall Topaz Gigapixel AI from your systemTopaz Gigapixel AI is a computer program. I deduce from that that ACDsee does not use GPU and relies on CPU.b Ut I had plenty of memory left.Īs the world is moving to AI and using GPU for this processing I was surprised that ACDsee was ignoring the firepro graphics card and 100% dependant on CPU. My GPU was only running at under 10% and my 8 CPU processor cores were alflat out and running boost mode. On one occasion during testing it said it could not save the file as there was not enough memory. No other option, just accept ACDsee will close now. Fine, that's what it always does so when that's accepted it thinks for a while and then decides that it will close. It announces that files will be flattened. But the problem comes when trying to save. It then seems to work as expected albeit a little slowly. ![]() However in edit mode anything over about aprox 500K size does not display the image unless duplicate image is used then it opens as it should. ![]() Over that it will not always save and suggests saving from view mode which it wont go to unless its saved, A C22 moment. In develop mode up to 1 GB seems to work fine and saves. I have a trial copy of Topaz AI Gigapixel I notice that ACDSee has a problem with some of the file sizes created. I have been enlarging some images by developing in ultimate also using topaz denoise as I have done for years. Having just updated to Ultimate 2019 I thought I might get a better result with maximum file size.
